A wide band of smocking through the bust holds the Dress Hoʻolai up on its own, so it wears strapless with double ruffle sleeves resting just off the shoulder. It is cut for the resort dinner where the trade winds pick up after dark.
The skirt gathers below the smocking and falls to the ankle, split by a front slit that runs to the thigh. Elastic at the top of each sleeve keeps them in place whether you wear them up or down. Kupukupu fronds at full scale run the length of the skirt in the Ember Glow Kupukupu print. Read its full story below.
The Men's Aloha Shirt Pōhaku and Men's Active Polo share the print. For daytime, try it with a wedge sandal and a hat.
